Welcome to EATIFY Nutrition!

The home of healthy inspiration for whole body nourishment

My name is Jen. I’ve been a Dietitian for over 15 years. I see how women are pulled in many different directions and struggle under the weight of life.

I see how a lack of time, lack of energy, lack of interest and inspiration in the kitchen and a deteriorating body image can impact your desire or ability to plan and cook healthy meals each day.

Cooking can be just one more chore to an already overflowing to-do list!

As the ONLY Dietitian who is also a Certified Hypnotherapist, I can offer you the added layer of Nutritional Hypnotherapy to help zap cravings and interrupt destructive, negative patterns that are sabotaging your weight loss efforts and hurting your health. I consider myself a champion of women’s health.

I’m here to help you navigate through whatever has you off-balance by infusing the science of nutrition into recipes, health articles, meal planning and education programs.

As a Registered Dietitian and Nutritionist, I take a holistic approach to examining your health and wellness.

Now in my 40’s, as I look ahead, I realize the importance of putting my health at the top of my to-do list.

After experiencing a car accident while pregnant with my second child, my body didn’t feel like my own anymore.

I was battling daily headaches, chronic pain and hormone imbalances, and I couldn’t seem to get my weight or my life back on track.

Even though I knew what I should be eating, I found myself slipping into the habit of looking for quick fixes and sugary pick-me-ups! I’d try to right the ship, but it always felt like it was 2 steps forward and 3 steps back.

Over time and with much determination, I was able to reclaim my energy and vitality and I found that my moods, confidence and sleep quality bounced back too!! — or, as much as possible with 2 young kids 😉

I’ve now made it my mission to help women prepare for and navigate through the landmine of hormonally induced weight gain, mood swings, peri-menopause symptoms and chronic disease risk that punctuates the aging process.

Whatever your motivations, I promise to help you feel great, look amazing and come out the other side with your health, your sanity and your self esteem intact!

The Eat.i.fy Philosophy

The foods you choose can have immeasurable impact on your short term and long term health.

My nutrition philosophy is simple:

  • Eat great food.
  • Lots of plants.
  • Listen to your body.
  • Enjoy what you eat!

I believe food is both nourishment and medicine, and, if you’re doing it right — a source of pleasure too!

It’s about conscious choices, patience and acceptance — not perfection or sacrifice!

Feel Your Best

My goal is to keep you feeling your best — whether you’re looking for healthy recipes, the latest nutrition science and advice, meal planning, or you want to dive deeper with coaching — I’ve got you!

I credit my parents for my passion for health, nutrition and cooking.

My amazing mom always invited me into the kitchen to learn how to create delicious meals and passed on her love of entertaining, cookbook hoarding and sharing community through food.

She taught me our legendary family Caesar salad recipe and bought me my signature wooden salad bowl (so big it has it’s own stand) when I left for University!

My Dad’s trademark philosophy is: “Don’t Put Sand in Your Ferarri”

— in other words, your body is a high performance machine and if you want it to run properly, you shouldn’t put sand in your gas tank!

It’s a running joke in our family, but the premise is sound. What you put in your gas tank matters.

Dad has always been a trailblazer — ahead of his time — we were eating whole grain bread and non-sugar cereal long before it was cool!

"Don't put sand in your Ferarri"

A few things about me:

  • I hate getting up early and unfortunately, also the taste of coffee
  • I love Brussel’s sprouts, green smoothies, mint chocolate & movie quotes
  • I always wanted to be Wonder Women when I grew up
  • I should have been the creator of lip sync battle
  • I have WAY too many cookbooks and am obsessed with ‘what’s for dinner’
  • My kids can read nutrition labels like a boss, but are obsessed with candy!

I’m so happy you’re here!
